Lesson overview
Students investigate how sleep, food, hydration, movement, emotions, relationships and screen habits influence wellbeing. Through a fictional school day, collaborative inquiry and reflection, they learn that health is not about perfection but about noticing needs and making small, balanced choices.
In the Investigation Lab, three groups explore wellbeing from different angles - Energy Detectives (sleep, food, hydration, movement), Feelings Investigators (naming emotions and choosing safe strategies), and Balance Guardians (rebalancing a day of screens, activity, rest and connection) - each checking one AI-generated wellbeing claim along the way.
The lesson closes with a personal Wellbeing Wheel, a lightning share, peer feedback, and an exit ticket. All scenarios are fictional - students are never asked to disclose personal health, weight or family information.
