What happens in Task 2
A 4-minute Phase 2 - Encounter activity. Twelve direction phrases are shown with hidden categories - tapping reveals what each one tells a visitor. Identifying 3 earns a Direction Explorer badge, followed by an optional observation note and a formative check question.
🎯 Learning objectives
Recognise movement instructions, position words, starting points and turning points as different kinds of information a direction can carry. Notice that the same movement or question exists in other languages too.
