Go straight along the entrance corridor to the only junction. Left reaches the ART ROOM. Straight ahead reaches the MUSIC ROOM. Right passes the OFFICE door (pass it, don't enter) and ends at the LIBRARY. There are no other turns or routes on M1.

The main entrance is at the bottom of the plan. The visitor starts there, facing into the school - towards the top of the plan. Every direction on M1 only makes sense from this shared starting point and viewpoint.

What happens in Task 4
A 5-minute Phase 3 - Investigation activity as "Group A - The School Plan Detectives." Students open three research prompts about School Plan M1, then write the five route steps from the main entrance to the library, posting them to a shared Discovery Wall.
🎯 Learning objectives
Connect an ordered English instruction with a named landmark and the visitor's facing direction. Treat a plan as a source: a route is correct because it matches the plan, not because it sounds confident.

- Full verbal description of M1 available; a learner may explain the sequence without visually tracing the corridor
- Voice input accepted for all three route fields
- Peer support: pairs work together within the group
