Task 8 - The Consumer Test Scorecard

Your four rankings appear in one scorecard. Calculate the total for one product yourself - the scorecard checks it and calculates the rest.

Weightings
๐Ÿ’ง Absorbency 30% ๐Ÿช™ Wet strength 25% ๐Ÿ“ Amount/value 20% ๐Ÿท๏ธ Sustainability 25%
Your four rankings, as points (4 = best, 1 = worst)

Final Consumer Test Scorecard
Your four fair tests are now one number per product. Let's find out who wins - and whether you predicted it.

What happens in Task 8

A 3-minute Phase 3 - Investigation activity. Students see all four of their test rankings converted to points, calculate one product's weighted total by hand to check their understanding, then let the scorecard calculate the rest and reveal a final 1st-4th ranking.

๐ŸŽฏ Learning objectives

To calculate and compare weighted product scores, combining four separate fair tests into one evidence-based total.
