⏱ 6 minutes
Task 7 - What Would You Propose?
Return to your case study from Task 4. This time, propose a concrete solution - and connect it to a democratic value.
Your case study from Task 4
A new student from another country joining a class
Probing questions
Which democratic value is missing here?
What would change if everyone applied that value?
Your proposal
Propose a concrete solution
Your approach - what would you do?
Your justification - why would this help?
✅ Saved to portfolio
A few classmate proposals - for inspiration
Student A - Language barrier
Set up a "translation buddy" system so no one is left out of instructions - this builds cooperation.
Student B - Shared calendar
Offer a make-up test date for students observing a holiday - this shows respect for religious freedom.
Student C - Community event
Let each group present their own tradition equally, so everyone feels represented - that's equality in action.
Bridge to Phase 4 - Discovery
"You've investigated real stories, matched values to real life, and proposed real solutions. Now let's put it all together - from stories to values."
What happens in Task 7
A 6-minute Phase 3 - Investigation activity. Students return to the case study they chose in Task 4 and propose a concrete solution: an approach field plus a justification textarea, guided by two probing questions ("Which democratic value is missing here?" / "What would change if everyone applied that value?"). A small static gallery of example classmate proposals is shown for inspiration.
