Place, Colour & Cultural Identity - Level 1 - all 7 activities complete
Your place has a palette. You found it.
Not a metaphor - a real, measurable set of colours with real causes. You can read a street now: what's underneath, what grows, the light, what people could get, and what somebody decided.
And you've seen that identity is not sentiment - it's evidence. A colour has a cause, and you can argue from it.

🏅 Phase 5 - Propagation 🏅 Test ⏱ 6 minutes

Activity 7 - What Have You Learned?

Look out of the window again. Same window, same job, forty-five seconds. Nothing outside changed in the last forty minutes. Then five questions - two can be marked by a machine, on the other three, what's being read is whether you can explain your reasoning.

What happens in Activity 7

The final 6-minute task. A second forty-five-second window count, revealing both counts side by side with no comment. Five questions, one per screen, no way back once an answer is submitted - Q1 and Q4 are structured and auto-marked, Q2, Q3 and Q5 are open text, stored for a teacher to mark with the rubric rather than graded in-browser. Then the three self-rating statements from Activity 1 return, worded identically, a conclusion card built from your own answers across the whole lesson, and the DigComp badge.

🎯 Learning objectives

Measure your own improvement since Activity 1. Show what you can now explain about causes, precise description, cross-country comparison, and who decides what a place looks like.

🧮 On Q1 - the one auto-marked question that adapts to you

Q1's accepted-cause table is built from your own Activity 3 data, not a fixed answer key - the only auto-marked question in the toolbox that works this way. This build checks it against your own collected colours (the raw material your class palette was built from), since that's where your real cause assignments live; the source specification describes this adapting to the whole class's Activity 3 data, which would need a real multi-student backend this demo doesn't have.

♿ SEN Adaptations
  • The window-count timer can be switched off entirely from the accessibility profile
  • Extended time (1.5× or 2×) available, invisible to other students
  • Voice input on all three open questions; per-question timing is a guide only - nothing auto-submits
🖨️ No-Tech Format
  • Print-pack card 7 is the full test with Q1 and Q4 as tick boxes, plus a printed third palette for Q3
  • Window count needs nothing
  • Only auto-marking is lost - Q1 and Q4 are the two quickest to mark by hand
