🔁 Feedback + reflection
⏱ 6 minutes
Task 10 - Feedback and the Last Darkness
Good design gets better with feedback - including yours.
Step 1 - Give feedback using the Wonder Feedback Protocol
Example design A - Car park light
Unshielded, pointing upward, high brightness, cool white, on all night.

I wonder…
What if…
Example design B - Garden path light
Shielded, pointing down, low brightness, warm white, motion-sensor only.

I wonder…

Step 3 - One last moment of darkness
3
After everything you've investigated and designed - what's one thing you'll notice differently about darkness from now on?
One last step - show what you've learned and claim your badge.
What happens in Task 10
A 6-minute Phase 5 - Closing activity. Students give structured feedback on two example lighting designs, reflect on feedback they might receive on their own design, spend one last brief moment of darkness, and answer a closing reflection question.
🎯 Learning objectives
To practise giving and receiving constructive design feedback, and consolidate the lesson's core idea before assessment.
♿ SEN Adaptations
- Feedback may be given verbally and scribed; the 3-second darkness moment may be a closed-eyes alternative
