What happens in Task 2
A 7-minute Phase 2 - Encounter activity. Students silently observe a mock pseudonymous profile (15 s), answer one-word noticing prompts, complete a 4-part DEAR-ICT analysis (Describe, Explain, Analyse, Respond), then finish the sentence "This digital page shows identity because…"

Students learn to read how colour, layout, symbols and copy communicate a constructed identity - preparing them for the more analytical Investigation phase.
